For over a hundred years the Cappelo family has been making fine leather shoes out of Monteroni, a tiny town in the boot heel of Italy. Now in their third generation of ownership, the brand name Fracap is a shortening of “Fratelli Cappelo” (Italian for “Brothers Cappelo”), an apt name for a brand that has only ever been owned and run by one family.
