Plain white or black socks that play a supporting role in an outfit can be elevated with different materials (like cotton-linen blends for breathability, or silver-threaded heels and toes to combat odour). Bolder options like tie dye, glitter thread, striped, or patterned socks immediately add a sense of playfulness, whether they’re visible to onlookers or for the wearer’s knowledge only. For wear with low-tops, we like ankle height or scrunched down taller socks. For boots and dressier occasions, crew length socks or higher are ideal pairings.
