Nicolas Mermoud (Ex-Salomon and Dynastar) and Jean-Luc Diard (More than 20

years of experience in the Outdoor/running industry, Ex-CEO of Salomon), had

the goal the needs of athletes in order to create better solution for them.

At a time when minimalism was the main attraction, they decided to go the

other way with an oversized midsole, keeping a low drop and an active foot

frame.

The original idea for Hoka One One came from a design perspective.

Today Hoka One One is more than a running brand. The comfort of

the shoes and the untraditional look have now made them part of
