Beginning its life as a grail-worthy collab with Engineered Garments way back in 2018, the limited-release Tor Ultra Hi has evaded us ever since, much to our dismay. Finally, this stylish hiker is ready to see the light of day once more – and believe us when we say that it’s better than ever. Vaguely reminiscent of a scaled-down moon boot (in the best way), the Tor Ultra Hi adds a GORE-TEX® lining for improved weather-proofing, with a Vibram Megagrip outsole for even better traction on even the roughest of trails. The high-top version in particular provides the kind of support and stability you need for those really gnarly hikes, locking in the heel and ankle with considerable padding and a lengthened lacing system. Despite this laundry list of tech, the Tor Ultra Hi is impressively light with no sacrifices made in the cushioning department.
