Kaptain Sunshine 1930 Straight Denim Pants - Indigo One Wash

The 1930 Straight Denim Pants by Kaptain Sunshine are crafted from 13.5oz selvedge denim made with premium San Joaquin cotton. Spun using a special method and dyed with pure indigo while retaining natural neps, the fabric is woven slowly on vintage looms at low tension to create a subtle, uneven texture. Cut in a baggy straight silhouette inspired by 1930s workwear, they feature a classic five-pocket layout, button fly, and buckle back detail. Made in Japan.

Kaptain Sunshine

The Americana revival movement is everywhere at the minute, but few are as adept at making it their own as Kaptain Sunshine. Led by Shinsuke Kojima, a former publisher and long-time appreciator of archival clothing, the fairly young brand breathes new life into time-honoured styles through carefully-selected, predominantly natural materials and easy tailoring that often echoes 80s casual wear and mid-90s skateboarding attire. Though it's easy to recognize the origins of each piece, Kaptain Sunshine has an idiosyncratic design language with a universal appeal that seamlessly bridges the gap between past & present.
