Few designers working today blend personal history, cultural storytelling, and meticulous craftsmanship as seamlessly as Nicholas Daley. Since launching his namesake label in 2015, the London-based designer has carved out a space that feels both deeply rooted and forward-looking — a place where community, heritage, and artistry converge.
As a Jamaican-British designer and creative director graduating from Central Saint Martins, Nicholas Daley drives the rich cultural influences of his Jamaican and Scottish heritage. This ultimately shapes each collection blending past and present Black British identity, diasporic narratives, and most commonly, the subcultural movements that shaped modern Britain as seen in his SS26 collection, “the Rebel Jacket.”
Daley’s work has been showcased at leading cultural institutions including the V&A, NOW Gallery, and the National Museum of Scotland. His ongoing connection to music and community is reflected in projects like Woven Rhythms and partnerships with youth music charities and cultural organizations.
Recognized as one of the leading voices in contemporary menswear, Nicholas Daley has earned support from the British Fashion Council and distinction as a finalist for major industry awards including the LVMH Prize and the International Woolmark Prize.
