SS21 WALLACE STYLE No.5
The cherry blossoms were out in full force this week, so we followed suit with a soft pink and green ensemble based around Kestin’s Armadale Shirt Jacket. To capture the feeling of a mild spring morning we decided to keep the colour palette light and the fabrics of middling weight. Let’s get into it...
The Armadale Shirt Jacket the centerpiece of this outfit, both because of its pastel pink colour and cotton corduroy fabric. Kestin nailed the weight of this piece; not too heavy, not too light, just perfectly comfortable for transitional weather.
To “cap” this look off, we picked the Poten Angelico Cap. Our love of these Japanese baseball caps is no secret, and this version comes in a gingham linen with shades of off-white and green. It’s one of our go-to accessories for spring and summer styling.
We went with the Goldwin Stretch Cargo Pants to bring some leafy green tones to this outfit. They also happen to be a great weight for spring weather and they’re water-repellent to boot! Technical legwear rarely looks this sharp.
Outland excels at making unfussy classics, and that’s exactly what the Farmer Long Sleeve Shirt is. Its off-white colour complements the soft pink of the Armadale, while the thin navy stripes add some visual interest and echo the corduroy’s vertical wales.
As with the Outland Farmer Long Sleeve Shirt, we picked the Hoka Stinson ATR 6 for the complementary off-white tones. The technical look of this trail shoe also pairs well with the Goldwin pants, and the comfort of that Hoka EVA midsole is always a bonus.
