If you look closely, you can see echoes of the sleeper hit GEL-FOUNDATION 8™, but this sneaker is all its own with ASICS trademark cross-hatched stripes concealed behind mesh netting and synthetic leather overlays on the toe and heel. The colour palette on this Smoke blue/Pure silver version is ridiculous in the best way possible, with pastel yellow and metallic amber details offsetting the otherwise subdued powder blue and grey tones.
