Diemme's new Balbi boot combines the sleek upper of a Chelsea with the hard-wearing functionality of a quality pair of duck boots to create the perfect poor-weather hybrid. It turns out that the sturdy rubber sole of the classic hunting boot looks great when paired with a panelled suede upper, giving the Balbi a more dignified look beyond its rugged New England origins. These sit comfortably around ankle height, and they elasticized leather panels make them super easy to slip on and off when you need to get somewhere in a hurry. The grained leather lining is comfy on the feet, and the tread on the outsole is great for tramping through puddles and preventing slips.
