Nicholas Daley

Since launching his eponymous label in 2015, London-based designer Nicholas Daley has redefined contemporary menswear by treating clothing as a medium for cultural storytelling. A Central Saint Martins graduate, Daley draws deep inspiration from his dual Scottish and Jamaican heritage, weaving personal family history into the fabric of the Black British diaspora. His work is centered on the pillars of community and craftsmanship, resulting in collections that eschew fleeting trends in favor of a continuous exploration of identity, music, and memory.

The brand is widely recognized for its "slow fashion" ethos and a commitment to bespoke British textiles, often collaborating with traditional hand-knitters and historic mills like Lovat in Scotland. Deeply influenced by his parents' legacy of running one of Scotland’s first reggae club nights, Daley’s designs frequently echo the silhouettes of jazz and dub subcultures. As a recipient of the BFC/GQ Designer Fashion Fund and an LVMH Prize finalist, Daley has bridged the gap between heritage craft and modern streetwear through iconic collaborations with Fred Perry and Adidas, creating modern artifacts of British multiculturalism.
