The Carbon X2 is one of Hoka One One’s sleekest running shoes, designed for endurance racing where responsiveness is key. The sole features a carbon fiber plate and aggressive meta-rocker, which help create a smooth heel-to-toe transition with every stride. A breathable mesh upper, gusseted tongue, and removable EVA sockliner rounds out the formidable features list. All that’s great and very impressive, but the real selling point for us is that the Carbon X2 looks like a freaking spaceship.
