Sweat Collarless Jacket - Beige
Jackman Sweat Collarless Jacket in Beige
Jackman’s supremacy in the kingdom of cotton basics is unchallenged because of pieces like the Heavy Pima Collarless Jacket. This beauty is tightly knitted from Spanish pima cotton to create a jacket that is strong and exceptionally soft. The pima cotton fabric is also of a middling weight—heavy for a longsleeve, light for a sweater—which makes it a versatile four-season layer. As with all Jackman pieces, it’s entirely made in Japan at the storied Tanabe Meriyasu factory.

Jackman
In 1949, a baseball-obsessed Japanese government officer named Mitsugu Tanabe quit his job and founded Tanabe Meriyasu, a factory for baseball goods. While historically specializing in baseball uniforms, Tanabe Meriyasu continues its tradition of manufacturing classic American sportswear under the Jackman label. Every piece from Jackman is still made in Japan from high quality cotton and looks just as good in 2020 as it would in 1960.
