Velva Sheen 10oz Pullover Hoodie in Heather Grey

A good quality hoodie is much like a Toyota Camry: it may not always get the recognition it deserves, but it dutifully serves its purpose and often has more under the hood than you’d expect. Half-baked analogies aside, the 10 oz. Pullover Hoodie from Velva Sheen is a raglan hoodie with a vintage feel due to those cool angled patch pockets on the front, replacing the kangaroo pocket we typically see today. Cotton fleece means it’s super comfy and 10 oz is plenty to provide warmth and durability without getting too bulky.

Velva Sheen

Velva Sheen was established in 1932 in Cincinnati, and produced tubular knit sportswear basics throughout the 20th century for universities, sports teams, and even the US Armed Forces. After going out of business, they’ve been revived and are now Japanese-owned and based in Los Angeles, California. Velva Sheen has picked up right where they left off, with all of their products made in the United States from domestic cotton.
